Yakovlev Yak-9U for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020

The Fighter That Won the Eastern Front - Piston fighter by DeimoS Inc., available on the official Marketplace for PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5.

The Yak-9 was the most produced Soviet fighter of the Second World War, with more than 16,000 built. Light, tough and easy to maintain on rough frontline airfields, it fought from Stalingrad to Berlin and gave Soviet pilots a machine able to meet the best German fighters on equal terms at low and medium altitude.

Our model is the Yak-9U, the final and fastest wartime version. Its liquid-cooled Klimov VK-107A V12 delivers up to 1,650 hp, pushing the aircraft to about 670 km/h (360 knots) at 5,000 meters with a climb to 5,000 meters in just five minutes. In the air it is light on the controls, quick to roll and a pleasure to fly by hand.

Our Yak-9U is fully native to MSFS 2024 and recreated down to the smallest detail, inside and out. Walk around the aircraft, remove the covers, prime and start the V12, watch the coolant temperature, set the altimeter in meters and take off from any airfield in the world. It is a pure stick-and-rudder fighter: no autopilot, just you, the engine and the sky. Every control you need does what it should, and every one has a tooltip that tells you what it does.
